It can be a really cool shot, or maybe just the one that makes you happiest due to the circumstances/who you were with/etc. I just love looking at other peoples' travel pics!
I don't know if I could pick a favorite, but I'm a fan of this one from a recent trip to France. From the top of the Sacré Coeur on a stormy day in Paris.
Oh My this is soooo difficult. I have plenty favorites from each place I've visited. But I think if I had to choose one it would probably be one from my diving or even my trekking. So here goes Dive Addict
Paro Taktsang, Bhutan
I have favorites from every country I've been to so I'll just go with the latest ... Cairo, Egypt at the Pyramids!
Two years ago my ship (that I work on) tendered in Isle of Pines, New Caledonia. I had a few hours off to explore this unimaginable place. I can't compare Isle of Pines to any place on this earth. There are tall sweeping pine tress that hang over the white sand with gentle breezes. There is nothing touristic or western about this place. Completely filled with nature and crystal clear water.
I have a ton of favorites. Here's one I just took in Luxor, Egypt after riding a hot air balloon.
Fav photo is this one of my sister and I at Trolltunga, Norway. We got lost along the hike and ended up hiking 22 miles that day. We hiked from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm and have never been so exhausted, but it was entirely worth it.
This is difficult as I have many favorites, but one of my favorite photos from my recent trips to Dalhousie in North India. It was my first trip to North India and I saw this spectacular view of the Pir Panjal mountain range.
