My suggestion would be to stick to France! 2 weeks is not enough to hop around and see too many big cities. I would not recommend spending less than 5 days in Paris, especially if you want to have time for a day trip to Versailles (and you want to, trust me...). From Paris, it's just so easy to take a train to Strasbourg and spend a couple of days there, see Colmar, maybe do a wine tour of the Alsace region... You can also go South to see another great city like Lyon, though if you're already doing Paris, maybe you'll want some contrast from the big grandiose city--you could visit some small medieval villages like Provins instead... Why waste time on flights, which take a lot of time when you add up getting to the airport, the wait before the flight, frequent delays with airlines like RyanAir and Easyjet... instead, rely on trains, truly the best way to get around Europe, and don't lose 2-3 days of your precious 2 weeks in Europe just getting from point A to point B every time you go to a new place!! That's my advice Each European country holds so much diversity within its borders, there's really no point trying to do several countries in a short amount of time.
